We took a changed side to Sutton Coldfield with a number of players having to play out of position. Such issues were of no concern and we played some lovely passing hockey in a first half which was significantly improved from the previous week.
Ted scored the first with a nice touch from an Armandeep direct long ball. Ted also scored our second with a well taken reverse stick sweep from the top of the D. Unfortunately some poor marking allowed the opposition to score twice. Gurnam managed to restore the lead with a brace of goals which gave the opposition goalkeeper little chance. Indeed Will Evans and Gurnam combined well down our right wing with Will's excellent play belying his young age.
Injuries took their toll on the more aged and the resulting 4-4 raw may be viewed by some as a fair result.
