A better performance 3 goals scored and a missed penalty stroke were not enough to overcome a youthful Wednesbury side.
Despite the result Wulf’s played really well with some nice inter passing moves which opened Wednesbury up on a number of occasions. Wulf’s failed to take their chances including a P flick which was expertly saved by Wednesburys keeper. As the game went on the squad size and youthfulness of Wednesbury began to show as Wulf’s began to tire. Not a bad game and not an 8-3 game, but taking nothing away from Wednesbury who were good value for their win.
