With survival in Div 6 secured last week, the pressure was off for the game vs Bridgnorth 2s. Having lost heavily in the away fixture, Old Wulfs 1sts were keen to make amends.
Bridgnorth caught us unawares with the first attack of the match, scoring in the first minute. It made the 20 min late arrival seen like a tactical ploy!
In the past thatight have shaken us, but we didn't let it affect us, and promptly leveled up thanks to a good move finished off by Archie.
The game ebbeded and flowed, with both teams having chances. A couple of close calls at either end, and some good goalkeeping kept things level. A fair result overall for a hard fought game against a stronger Bridgnorth team than the reverse fixture.
Some good performances all over the pitch, and Daz had another great game in defence, including an epic goalline clearance, but another day of heroics between the sticks sees Colin pick up another MOTM - well deserved.
